With more than 20 years of experience in the medical field, Dr. Mark Dekutoski relocated his practices in orthopedic surgery from Minnesota to Arizona as he joins The CORE Institute. This world-renowned spine surgeon comes to The Center for Orthopedic Research and Education (CORE) in Phoenix as an internationally recognized pioneer, educator and leader in his medical industry. Now with the ability to focus on orthopedic surgery among similar peers, Dekutoski works alongside fellow individuals with the same wide-scope specialty at this 10-plus year facility, one that focuses on a vision of orthopedic excellence within research and individualized patient care.

Mark Dekutoski arrives after more than two decades of work serving the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, where he carved out his niche in orthopedic surgery. His specific focus is in adult and pediatric minimally-invasive spine deformity-scoliosis, kyphosis, spine tumors, spondylolisthesis and disc degeneration. It was at the Mayo Clinic that Dekutoski emerged as a leader in his surgical and medical field with more than 60 peer-reviewed publications, work as an academic editor, years of educating others in the specialty as well as general surgery, and other administrative duties. Dekutoski is board certified and fellowship trained as well.
